About

Brian Backus was born and raised in La Jolla, California. He majored in Evolutionary Biology at Harvard College, and minored in film. He then received an MFA in Film Production from USC, and an MBA from Harvard University. He lives in San Francisco, and is the proud father of twin boys.​
